Seriously considering doing Bank Transfer Day. I’ve been thinking about switching to a credit union for a while anyway.
Really wish they weren’t using that stupid Guy Fawkes mask, though.

I have a savings account at a credit union, so I’m going to look into switching everything over to them. Hopefully, it’ll work out.

I’m thinking about switching to a credit union myself. I just worry about accessibility. IE: Online banking, instant-use of funds transferred, direct deposit… Thoughts?

I’m sure every one is different, but we have a teacher’s credit union that you just have to be a resident of the county to use. I know they have all of the above. I have an account with a military credit union, but I don’t even know if I can open a checking account there. I plan to try both. If you have the time, call around and find out who can/will work with you. I’m sure any/all credit unions would appreciate our monthly funds!
